Lutheran Boy Pioneers

  Lutheran Boy Pioneers
The Lutheran Boys Pioneers is an organized Christian group for school aged boys.

The Reformation Lutheran Pioneer's Train Number is 455 and we are in the Aztalan District.  We hold meetings from September until June, every other Wednesday.  During Lent, the Pioneer boys usher for the church, at the mid-week service.

We are an active group at the district level and on our own.  There are four district events in which we participate:

  • The Winter Fun Days held in January.
  • The Pinewood Derby is held the beginning of March.
  • The Father/Son Banquet is held the beginning of May.
  • The District Campout is held on Father's Day weekend.

Our church's train participates in various other activites.  We enjoy the outdoors and plan several outdoor activities summer through fall.  Some of our regularly held activities are as follows:
  • Canoe trip in early summer
  • Canoe campout in August
  • Fall campout in October
  • Christmas party

The Lutheran Pioneers is a wonderfully active group that offers great opportunities for active dads and boys.  We enjoy meeting new dads and boys each year.  Please join us.  Current leaders are:

Brian Stichman, Train Master
Cliff Beauchamp, District Rep.
Pat Jessup, Buckaroo Leader
Pastor Jonathan Arndt, Train Chaplain
