Walking into a new church for the first time is not an easy task. Perhaps it’s because of the perception of church that many people have.
Oftentimes people think of churches like museums - places where all the “good” people are put on display for others to look at. Don’t get me wrong, I hope that you will find some friendly and caring people here. But for all that, the truth is, what you will find here are sinners… you, me, everybody.
The reality is that Church is much more like a hospital – a place for sick people who need to be healed. The reason we are so glad to have you here with us is that there is someone greater and more important than ourselves that we’d like you to meet – your Savior, Jesus Christ. That Savior Jesus died on the cross to bring forgiveness to all… you, me, everybody.
You are welcome here, because you are just like us. Sinful people who are blessed with forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ.
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the
world to save sinners." - I Timothy 1: 15
